Muskan Virk Brings Her 365 Days Of Gratitude Summer Book Tour To Indigo Bookstores Across Toronto

Buffalo, NY – June 26, 2017 – Coming off the heels of Canada 150, the largest city north of the border is set to experience a transformation, coming from the grateful heart of a courageous 10-year-old girl from Vancouver.

Join one of the world’s youngest authors, 10-year-old Muskan Virk, as she brings her 365 Days of Gratitude Summer Book Tour to Toronto this July for a series of three special book signings at Indigo bookstores across the city:

Friday, July 14th @ Indigospirit First Canadian Place (100 King Street West, Toronto, Ontario M5X 1A9)

Sunday, July 16th @ Indigo Eaton Centre (12-3PM ET) (220 Yonge Street, Toronto, Ontario M5B 2H1)

Saturday, July 22nd @ Indigo Yonge & Eglington (1-4PM ET) (2300 Yonge Street, Toronto, Ontario M4P 1E4)

“I am super excited to meet and inspire everyone in Toronto,” said Muskan.” “To be able to team up with Canada’s biggest bookstore to be able to do this is a real honor for me, for which I am infinitely grateful for.”

Along with the inspiring stories of gratitude from best-selling authors Serena Dyer (the daughter of beloved spiritual teacher and New York Times best-selling author and inspirational speaker Dr. Wayne Dyer) and Rick Hansen (Canadian Paralympian, activist, and philanthropist for people with disabilities), 365 Days of Gratitude is filled with simple gratitudes of everyday life, which inspire and uplift, and remind all of the beauty and pleasures that surrounds us and makes us feel good.

At each event, Muskan will also be signing copies of her book 365 Days of Gratitude, which will be available for purchase, with fans having the opportunity to meet and greet Muskan and ask her their questions about gratitude, love, and compassion. Part of the proceeds of all books sold in Toronto will go to Helping Hands, Muskan’s official organization, which is giving back to the homeless and to those in need across the globe.

(Los Angeles, Calif.) – The Midnight Mission (TMM) is pleased to announce that ten-year-old writer/philanthropist Muskan Virk will be serving dinner to our homeless and near-homeless community on Saturday, December 10, 2016. On the heels of the release 365 Days of Gratitude, Muskan and her family asked to visit TMM while she is in town during her U.S. and Canadian book tour. Along with the inspiring stories of gratitude from best-selling authors Serena Dyer (the daughter of New York Times best-selling author and beloved spiritual teacher Dr. Wayne Dyer) and Jason Garner (the former CEO of Live Nation), Rick Hansen (Canadian Paralympian, activist, and philanthropist), Taylor Conroy (former NHL star) and Maya Kanigan (the Founder and President of Women in Leadership), this book is filled with simple gratitudes of everyday life, which inspire and uplift, continually reminding us all of the beauty and pleasures that surround us.

Joining her in serving meals will be her Mother Meera, Father Kip, Former WWE Diva Serena Deeb and former Supervising Producer of the Oprah Winfrey Show LeGrande Green. In addition to serving meals, Muskan will be handing out hand-written notes to each person she serves. These notes will contain messages of encouragement.  Immediately following the meal service, Muskan will speak to our community in what has been titled A Night of Gratitude. She will talk about her book and how practicing gratitude can completely transform one’s life. Her goal is to inspire people in their time of need. Muskan is a catalyst for connection, helping people to embrace who they truly are. 365 Days of Gratitude provides people of all ages with hope, healing, inspiration, positivity, and a sense of knowing and feeling the foundation of what joy and happiness are based on: gratitude.

This event will follow her book signing/Q&A at Mystic Journey in Venice, CA on Friday, December 9th. It’s not often that we find a young individual so determined to bring change to the world. We feel that having Muskan, her family and friends visit our facility will bring joy and hope to all of TMM’s guests.

About Muskan Virk: Muskan Virk came into this world as a miracle after her parents’ 16 years of marriage. At the young age of six, Muskan learned about the injustice that Malala Yousafzai had gone through, and was devastated. She was propelled to take action and make a difference. She started by raising fund to donate to the Malala Fund and other local charities. However, despite the difference she was already making, Muskan didn’t want to stop there. She asked her mother incessantly about why there was so much gender inequality in such modern times. In order to shift her thoughts on this subject to a more positive state, her mother gave her a journal and encouraged her to write one thing every day that she was grateful for. From those beautiful daily gratitudes, her book, 365 Days of Gratitude was born. Muskan is inspired by knowing that her words will make a difference in people’s lives and would like to make a difference globally with her foundation called Helping Hands, whose mission is to help homelessness in every country. Muskan lives with her parents and her dog Butterball. For additional information, please visit Muskan on Instagram
