Robyn Wiley Inspires Teens To Choose Love In “My Happy Book”

Robyn Wiley Inspires Teens To Choose Love In “My Happy Book”

For the first two decades of her life, Robyn felt like an outcast, not knowing how to express her feelings, and not being able to recognize what her talents and strengths were. She felt inadequate and struggled with depression.

As she began to journal, she pondered some of the most important questions in life: Who Am I? What do I most want to experience in life? What is most important to me? Asking herself these significant questions results in meaningful, heartfelt answers, realizing that she could consciously choose thoughts from a place of love and empowerment rather than fear and victimhood.

Her courageous story inspired her to give back to teens. Through powerful questions, prompts, tools, insights, inspiring poetry, helpful poetry, and room for creative expression, My Happy Book allows teens to see how they can tap into their self-awareness and inner beauty, raise their confidence, lead a meaningful life, and make peace with their past, while envisioning a bright future.

A Night Of Gratitude: 10-Year-Old Writer/Philanthropist Muskan Virk To Visit The Midnight Mission Saturday, December 10th

EmpoweredByJohnMuskanVirk

(Los Angeles, Calif.) – The Midnight Mission (TMM) is pleased to announce that ten-year-old writer/philanthropist Muskan Virk will be serving dinner to our homeless and near-homeless community on Saturday, December 10, 2016. On the heels of the release 365 Days of Gratitude, Muskan and her family asked to visit TMM while she is in town during her U.S. and Canadian book tour. Along with the inspiring stories of gratitude from best-selling authors Serena Dyer (the daughter of New York Times best-selling author and beloved spiritual teacher Dr. Wayne Dyer) and Jason Garner (the former CEO of Live Nation), Rick Hansen (Canadian Paralympian, activist, and philanthropist), Taylor Conroy (former NHL star) and Maya Kanigan (the Founder and President of Women in Leadership), this book is filled with simple gratitudes of everyday life, which inspire and uplift, continually reminding us all of the beauty and pleasures that surround us.

Joining her in serving meals will be her Mother Meera, Father Kip, Former WWE Diva Serena Deeb and former Supervising Producer of the Oprah Winfrey Show LeGrande Green. In addition to serving meals, Muskan will be handing out hand-written notes to each person she serves. These notes will contain messages of encouragement.  Immediately following the meal service, Muskan will speak to our community in what has been titled A Night of Gratitude. She will talk about her book and how practicing gratitude can completely transform one’s life. Her goal is to inspire people in their time of need. Muskan is a catalyst for connection, helping people to embrace who they truly are. 365 Days of Gratitude provides people of all ages with hope, healing, inspiration, positivity, and a sense of knowing and feeling the foundation of what joy and happiness are based on: gratitude.

This event will follow her book signing/Q&A at Mystic Journey in Venice, CA on Friday, December 9th. It’s not often that we find a young individual so determined to bring change to the world. We feel that having Muskan, her family and friends visit our facility will bring joy and hope to all of TMM’s guests.

About Muskan Virk: Muskan Virk came into this world as a miracle after her parents’ 16 years of marriage. At the young age of six, Muskan learned about the injustice that Malala Yousafzai had gone through, and was devastated. She was propelled to take action and make a difference. She started by raising fund to donate to the Malala Fund and other local charities. However, despite the difference she was already making, Muskan didn’t want to stop there. She asked her mother incessantly about why there was so much gender inequality in such modern times. In order to shift her thoughts on this subject to a more positive state, her mother gave her a journal and encouraged her to write one thing every day that she was grateful for. From those beautiful daily gratitudes, her book, 365 Days of Gratitude was born. Muskan is inspired by knowing that her words will make a difference in people’s lives and would like to make a difference globally with her foundation called Helping Hands, whose mission is to help homelessness in every country. Muskan lives with her parents and her dog Butterball. For additional information, please visit Muskan on Instagram

10,000+ Empowered Souls On Twitter…And Growing!

It’s very easy to get caught up on in our social media following. It’s important to know that we transcend that. We are not the number of likes on Facebook or the number of followers on Twitter.

I choose to utilize social media for the greater good, to promote lightworkers that bring love, joy, compassion, and healing into the world, in addition to sharing journeys of inspiration. I let the love, the light, and the message speak for themselves…and let Spirit take care of the rest.

I am profoundly grateful for many things in my life in this present moment: one of which being you, all of the empowered souls around the world for your unwavering support and dedication. Each and every one of you have united together to form a collective tribe of empowerment that is now over 10,000 strong. To know that more people are in some way having their lives be brightened every day in some way puts a smile on my face and one in my heart.

We welcome you, no matter wherever in the world you may be, on Twitter @EmpoweredByJohn. We welcome your presence. We feel the love that you are. And yes, you can always be your authentic self with myself and the rest of your fellow empowered souls. There’s no need for fear, worry, or feeling the need to impress anyone. You are embraced here with us just the way you are.

It’s not just a “spiritual cliche.” The best is yet to come. Need proof? “La Luna” is in the skies above getting ready for 2.22, our next Full Moon.
