Robyn Wiley Inspires Teens To Choose Love In “My Happy Book”

Robyn Wiley Inspires Teens To Choose Love In “My Happy Book”

For the first two decades of her life, Robyn felt like an outcast, not knowing how to express her feelings, and not being able to recognize what her talents and strengths were. She felt inadequate and struggled with depression.

As she began to journal, she pondered some of the most important questions in life: Who Am I? What do I most want to experience in life? What is most important to me? Asking herself these significant questions results in meaningful, heartfelt answers, realizing that she could consciously choose thoughts from a place of love and empowerment rather than fear and victimhood.

Her courageous story inspired her to give back to teens. Through powerful questions, prompts, tools, insights, inspiring poetry, helpful poetry, and room for creative expression, My Happy Book allows teens to see how they can tap into their self-awareness and inner beauty, raise their confidence, lead a meaningful life, and make peace with their past, while envisioning a bright future.

Buffalo, NY – June 26, 2017 – Coming off the heels of Canada 150, the largest city north of the border is set to experience a transformation, coming from the grateful heart of a courageous 10-year-old girl from Vancouver.

Join one of the world’s youngest authors, 10-year-old Muskan Virk, as she brings her 365 Days of Gratitude Summer Book Tour to Toronto this July for a series of three special book signings at Indigo bookstores across the city:

Friday, July 14th @ Indigospirit First Canadian Place (100 King Street West, Toronto, Ontario M5X 1A9)

Sunday, July 16th @ Indigo Eaton Centre (12-3PM ET) (220 Yonge Street, Toronto, Ontario M5B 2H1)

Saturday, July 22nd @ Indigo Yonge & Eglington (1-4PM ET) (2300 Yonge Street, Toronto, Ontario M4P 1E4)

“I am super excited to meet and inspire everyone in Toronto,” said Muskan.” “To be able to team up with Canada’s biggest bookstore to be able to do this is a real honor for me, for which I am infinitely grateful for.”

Along with the inspiring stories of gratitude from best-selling authors Serena Dyer (the daughter of beloved spiritual teacher and New York Times best-selling author and inspirational speaker Dr. Wayne Dyer) and Rick Hansen (Canadian Paralympian, activist, and philanthropist for people with disabilities), 365 Days of Gratitude is filled with simple gratitudes of everyday life, which inspire and uplift, and remind all of the beauty and pleasures that surrounds us and makes us feel good.

At each event, Muskan will also be signing copies of her book 365 Days of Gratitude, which will be available for purchase, with fans having the opportunity to meet and greet Muskan and ask her their questions about gratitude, love, and compassion. Part of the proceeds of all books sold in Toronto will go to Helping Hands, Muskan’s official organization, which is giving back to the homeless and to those in need across the globe.

10-Year-Old Muskan Virk Kicks Off Her 365 Days Of Gratitude Summer Book Tour In Buffalo

Buffalo, NY – June 5, 2017 – Join one of the world’s youngest authors, 10-year-old Muskan Virk, as she kicks off her 365 Days of Gratitude Summer Book Tour in Western New York with a week-long celebration of gratitude and six special events in/around Buffalo the week of July 4th.

The Healing Power Of Gratitude @ Unity of Buffalo (Sunday, July 2nd, 12-3PM ET, Suggested Love Offering: $20: Adults, $15: Seniors & Children): Muskan will be sharing her amazing and inspirational journey, how focusing on what and whom you have in your life can help you in your own healing, while allowing you to hold the space for those in your life who are healing. You are invited to take part in the Gratitude Pot Luck at the conclusion of the event. A portion of the love offering will go to the Child Life Department of Women’s & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. All are welcome to take part in this special afternoon of gratitude.

What Are You Grateful For? @ The Lancaster Library (Monday, July 3rd, 1-3PM ET): While feeling freedom and independence in the air and enjoying the holiday festivities in Lancaster, take some time to reflect and relax, and to connect with your family, friends, and your neighbors to share with Muskan what and whom you have in your life to be grateful for.

365 Days of Gratitude Book Signing @ Dawnfire Sanctuary (Wednesday, July 5th, 6-8PM ET):

Meet & Greet/365 Days of Gratitude Book Signing @ Ilio DiPaolo’s Restaurant (Thursday, July 6th, 12-2PM ET): One of the most important things to be grateful for in our lives is the delicious food that we are blessed to eat every day and enjoying it with those we love and care about. Food does taste better when it’s shared. When walking into Ilio’s, you will have the opportunity to meet Muskan and share your gratitudes before enjoying your lunch with family and friends.

A Night of Gratitude @ The Buffalo City Mission (Friday, July 7th, 5-8PM ET: **Event Closed To The Public**): Muskan will be uniting the women and children of the Buffalo City Mission in a night of hope and healing, serving the evening’s dinner meal, singing Amazing Grace, and speaking to the residents about the importance of believing in yourself and never giving up.

Grounded In Gratitude @ Monkey See, Monkey Do…Children’s Bookstore (Saturday, July 8th, 11AM-12:30PM ET): Families, parents, and children of all ages are invited to join Muskan for the creation of a special Gratitude Tree Mural, to share your gratitudes, by adding your “leaves” and/or “handprints,” to leave a lasting impression.

“My family and are blessed to come to Western New York for the first time. Buffalo has been referred to for some time as the ‘City of Good Neighbors,’ and so there’s no place else I could think of to begin my 365 Days of Gratitude Summer Book Tour other than Buffalo,” said Muskan.

At each event open to the public, Muskan will also be signing copies of her book 365 Days of Gratitude, which will be available for purchase. Part of the proceeds of all books sold in Western New York will go to Helping Hands, Muskan’s official organization, which is giving back to the homeless and to those in need across the globe.

The Inspiring Journey To 365 Days Of Gratitude: Muskan came into this world as a miracle after her parents’ 16 years of marriage. At the young age of 6, Muskan learned about the injustice that Malala Yousafzai (the Pakistani activist for female education and the youngest-ever Nobel Prize laureate) had gone through, and was devastated. She was propelled to take action and wanted to make a difference. She started by raising funds to donate to the Malala Fund and other local charities. However, despite the difference she was already making, Muskan didn’t want to stop there. She asked her mother incessantly about why there was so much gender inequality in such modern times. In order to shift her thoughts on this subject to a more positive state, her mother gave her a journal and encouraged her to write one thing every day that she was grateful for.

She wanted Muskan to focus on all the positive things in her life. As time passed, her mother forgot about the journal, until Muskan came to her later with a journal filled with all of the things she was grateful for and how she had transformed her negative thoughts about gender inequality into positive thoughts on how she can use her influence to make an impact.

From those beautiful daily gratitudes, 365 Days of Gratitude was born. Muskan has since traveled throughout North America, to New York City, Seattle, and Los Angeles, sharing her message of gratitude, love, and compassion with children, parents, families, and the homeless, connecting one heartbeat at a time.

Feel The Healing Messages Of Some Of Your Holiday Favorites, In A Night Of Love, Meditation, & Prayer: Join Us @ The Lancaster Library December 15th For “A Walking Each Other Home Christmas”

Do you feel lost, afraid, alone, or unloved? Do you feel as if the world in which you lived in not that long ago feels completely different? Has your perspective on life and its meaning completely transformed? Do you feel that you were placed here on Earth for a reason, but have wondered what your life purpose is? Were you diagnosed with a perceived illness or disease and have been struggling with your health? Have you always placed others before yourself and have had difficulty putting yourself first and practicing self-love?

Join us at The Lancaster Library on Thursday, December 15th (beginning at 6PM ET) for A Walking Each Other Home Christmas, where you will be able to join like-minded souls that are on a journey of self-love and self-discovery just like you, where you will be to share your path with others in a safe and sacred space and help to unite the community in the name of love, service, and healing.

In addition, we will be sharing the messages and healing energies contained within Laurie Boggs’ Hitting Fear Head On (which shares her messages of love, healing, and miracles that was inspired by her 8-year-old Preston, whose life was tragically cut short in a motor vehicle accident in 1999), along with Trans-Siberian’s Orchestra’s Christmas Canon, Peter Paul, and Mary’s A ‘ Soalin, Cloverton’s A Hallelujah Christmas, and John Williams’ Somewhere In My Memory.

We will be gathering together to celebrate Christmastime together and reflect on all of the life lessons and blessings that we learned in 2016, as we shift our energies fully to the New Beginnings of 2017, when we all take the next steps in our missions, both individually and collectively. In commemoration of the Christmas holiday, we will be having another Walking Each Other Home Potluck. Each person who attends is invited to bring a desert, snack, and/or beverage of his/her own choosing. Through this gathering and through the enjoyment of this holiday feast, we will set an intention in unison of nourishing our minds, bodies, and souls, providing for us the fuel for the love that we will be giving to ourselves, our families, and or loved ones leading into Christmas.

This is an opportunity to release what no longer serves you and to let your soul and consciousness expand. This is a chance to be yourself, where you do not have to wear any masks to pretend to be someone other than you are. The healing on all levels that you never thought was possible is now here.

If you are in the Buffalo area, we encourage you to join us. Please share this Meetup if you have someone you know, love, and care about that would be interested in attending.

We hope that you join us, with a mind attached to nothing and open to everything. It will be our honor to inspire, serve, and hold the space for you through this evening of unconditional love.

If you are in Western New York or the Southern Ontario area, we encourage you to join us and take part in the Walking Each Other Home. Please share this Meetup if someone you know, love, and care about would be interested in attending. You are also welcome to join in the discussion in the official Walking Each Other Home Facebook Group

(Los Angeles, Calif.) – The Midnight Mission (TMM) is pleased to announce that ten-year-old writer/philanthropist Muskan Virk will be serving dinner to our homeless and near-homeless community on Saturday, December 10, 2016. These notes will contain messages of encouragement.  Immediately following the meal service, Muskan will speak to our community in what has been titled A Night of Gratitude. She will talk about her book and how practicing gratitude can completely transform one’s life. Her goal is to inspire people in their time of need. We feel that having Muskan, her family and friends visit our facility will bring joy and hope to all of TMM’s guests.
